Popular media personality, Bolanle Olukanni has said enjoying stable power supply in Nigeria comes at a high price.
This follows the recent improvement in power supply in some parts of the country following the increased electricity generation.
Bolanle Olukanni says,
Some Nigerians on social media have attested to the fact that they are enjoying better power supply, however, some are complaining that their electricity bill has increased sporadically.
In reaction to the complaints, a Twitter user wrote,
“Small stable power supply, you are complaining about the bills. You all think the good Nigeria we are praying and hoping for would come with free and cheap meals?”
Reacting to the tweet, Bolanle bemoaned the high rate she has been paying for electricity lately.
According to her, she enjoyed uninterrupted power supply for 23 hours and she couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the bill.
“Like e shock me when I was reloading Nepa credit back to back. 23 hour power supply and I was like ooo, this is expensive lol”, she wrote.
Bolanle Olukanni also says,
A while ago, Bolanle Olukanni took to her social media page to admonish single Nigerians on the need to respect their “friend’s marriage.”
Her post on Twitter reads;
If you are single and have a friend that is married try as much as possible to behave in a way that respects your friend’s marriage. Always ask, if I was married would I appreciate this behavior if someone did this with my partner.
